Duo van Dua is a newly created duo, composed of two pianists who have developed their successful careers as soloists, and decided to join hands and play quatre-mains. First the duo participated as members of the Camerata Auditorium Theater and afterwards the went on as an independent duo performing concerts throughout Spain.
Pamela Perez Heredia & Pedro Mercado Isidro made their first recording with the album “French Music for piano duet” motivated to provide a broader view on chamber music. Their repertoire is broad and addresses both original works for piano four hands as well as other compositions of all periods and styles.
Both Pamela and Pedro are teachers at the “Conservatorio Profesional José Pérez Barceló” in Benidorm, particularly targeting the artistic training of young people, encouraging students to perform at auditions, thematic concerts and exchanges, both solo and of course as duo pianists, playing quatre-mains.
