Aitzol Iturriagagoitia (violin)

Aitzol Iturriagagoitia was born in 1975 in Eibar (País Vasco-Spain). He studied with Zakhar Bron at the High School of Music Reina Sofia Madrid-Spain, Kolja Lessing at the Musikhochschule in Leipzig and Ingolf Turban in Stuttgart. He have a extensive experience like chamber musician, he was first violin of Iturriaga Quartet and later the same position at the Arriaga Quartet. He has been invited to the most importants theaters and festivals in Europe, such as the Wigmore Hall in London, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the MDR- Musiksommer , the Palais des Beaux -Arts in Brussels, Festival of Chamber Music Kuhmo (Finland), the Palau de la Música in Barcelona or Madrid Royal Palace with the Palatine collection of Stradivarius , the Musical Fortnight of San Sebastián and Gidon Kremer Festival Lockenhaus.
He has taught master classes in Latin America and Spain as professor of violin and chamber music. Currently he is regularly invited to the Euskadi Symphonic Orchestra like Concertino guest , violin Professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater ” Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy ” in Leipzig, violin professor at the specialty Higher School of Music ” Musikene ” País Vasco-Spain , soloist and chamber musician.
